How BRUCE LEE died: At the beginning of 1973 and, after suffering several fainting and convulsions, the actor was diagnosed a cerebral edema that, three months later would take to the death.
Bruce Lee was in Kowloon, Hong Kong, arranging the details for a new film production, Game of Death, with the famous producer Raymond Chow. He had met at the home of Taiwanese actress Betty Ting Pei, in order to discuss the script of the film.
During the meeting, Lee felt a severe headache, so Betty gave him an analgesic (Equagesic) that made him deeply numb. Bruce had planned a dinner with producer Chow that never arrived, since he had entered coma.
The actor was transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where the doctors, despite all their efforts could not revive him. Lee had entered without life.
The funeral in Hong Kong was crowded, his coffin was bronze, but upon being moved to Seattle, Lee’s body had to be changed to a different one, because the moisture had made the coffin lining stained blue by the actor’s suit.
Bruce Lee was buried in Lake View Cemetery, Capitol Hill.
